The two stage design of the Predator 8.6 lends itself well to low pressure subsonics and high pressure long action cartridges. Pressure stagnation relief is the core design emphasis to reduce bore jetting. This allows for a verylow and pleasant muzzle signature which helps when communicating with fellow hunters if you need to make a follow up shot.
